La Enseñanza Casa de La Ciudad is an independent Cultural Center that is maintained thanks to donations from visitors and the activities carried out in its facilities. These donations allow us to continue with the restoration and maintenance of the rooms to offer better spaces. for the activities of the cultural and artistic agenda.
Our main objective is the creation of spaces for art and culture in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, working mainly with the local community and children, which is why the team's efforts focus on the rehabilitation of its spaces, the which require special care. These contributions allow us to fulfill this purpose.
Currently, the fitting out of floors has stopped as the rehabilitation of the ceilings of the rooms that are used for exhibitions, workshops, conferences and related activities has begun. Likewise, part of the parapet of the roof has been restored, and maintenance and removal of graffiti from the main façade began.
