Dear Readers,
We are celebrating our L2 trainers who were trained in 2021 and had top up training in August 2022. They are going to receive their certificates in July. Also well done to Fahmida and Lusana who received their L3 certificates, after completing a year long supervision of Community Health Workers (CHWs), and have become MAITS Master Trainers. Well done to all of them for their hard work and dedication.
The next round of CHW training is going to take place in July. Our Master Trainers at CRP, Fahmida and Lusana, are overseeing the L2 trainees who were trained in December. The trainees will deliver the L1 training to 15 CHWsa local organisation. Once the CHWs have received their classroom training in July, they will start their visits to families in their community.
Additional exciting news - Fahmida, one of our Master Trainers, has been invited to attend Intermediate Level Mentoring provided by Motivation India. The training is held over 11 daysin Bangaloreand will focus on wheelchair service delivery. MAITS is partially funding her to attend this training which will be really beneficial towards her continued professional development
