Dear Friends,
60 MAITS trained Community Health Workers are continuing home visits to children with developmental disabilities in Dhaka under the supervision of CRP Bangaldesh.
We are continually receiving encourging cast studies and stories from Bangladesh. Our team his very much excited to see the families receiving support in Bangladesh through our work!
Story told by the Community Health Worker:
Naz is four years old. She has cerebral palsy (level ii).
At the first day (11th October, 2021) I had found – Bathing, Dressing and Grooming are more difficult than other tasks for the mother.
Yeasmin taught Naz and her parents by using MAITS book. During the 2nd visit (26th October, 2021)it was found that Bathing is improved than previous days but dressing and grooming have not changed.
After 3rd Visit time (10thNovember, 2021) it was received that Naz had improved in dressing and grooming, but in grooming she takes more time. Her mother was so much happy.
During the 4th visit time (25thNovember, 2021) it was observed that Naz had performed toileting, dressing and grooming independently but during the grooming, she takes more time.
We can't thank you all enough for supporting our work!
