Summary: Our mission is to raise $35,000 to fund the construction of a new college building for underprivileged children in Malikpur. With $34,605 remaining, we're seeking your support to make this project a reality. This initiative will transform the lives of underprivileged students by providing them with a conducive learning environment and facilities required for intermediate and undergraduate education.

Project Background: NUR Foundation aspires to build a college for the underprivileged children of Malikpur to ensure they have access to proper educational facilities for intermediate and undergraduate levels. Currently, students at NUR Foundation face challenges such as open-air classrooms and a lack of essential facilities like washrooms and labs.

Our Solution: This project aims to partially fund the construction of a college building that will feature:

7 classrooms
1 school hall
1 science lab
1 computer lab
4 washrooms

The new college building will create the right environment for imparting quality education and positively impact the lives of the underprivileged children of Malikpur.

Long-Term Impact: The successful completion of the NUR Foundation College project will have a profound and lasting impact. Bridging the Education Gap

NUR Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on the education sector in Pakistan. We believe that education is a fundamental right, and everyone deserves access to quality education. However, Pakistan is currently facing significant challenges in its education sector. According to recent statistics, approximately 22.8 million children in Pakistan are out of school, with a net enrollment rate of only 57% for primary education and 27% for secondary education. This situation is further exacerbated by the economic crisis, which has adversely affected the availability of proper facilities in schools.

At NUR-FMS, we have been actively working to address these issues by raising awareness and building the capacity of teachers in our adopted communities. Since 1996, we have been running schools in Malikpur Village, Lahore, where we have reached maximum enrollment. As a result of the rising demand and expanding population, there is an urgent need for supplementary facilities to meet the needs of these students.

The continuous political unrest has contributed to an economic downturn and the devaluation of the local currency, causing construction costs to soar. This situation has posed significant obstacles to meeting the project's deadline. Your generous donations will play a vital role in providing better education to our students. We have identified specific areas where your support can have a significant impact, and we have estimated the costs for each of these areas based on relevant statistics from Pakistan:

Welcome to NUR Foundation's College Construction Fund, where we are committed to making a positive impact on the education sector in Pakistan. We believe that education is a fundamental right and everyone deserves access to quality education.

However, the economic crisis in Pakistan has worsened the situation, especially in the primary and secondary education sectors. Our adopted communities are facing a lack of proper facilities, and we urgently need your help to bridge the gap.

The NUR-FMS has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and build the capacity of teachers in these communities. We have been running schools in Malikpur Village, Lahore, since 1996, where the enrollment has reached its maximum, and we urgently require additional facilities to meet the growing demand.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the NUR Foundation and Fatima Memorial Hospital have been working on construction activities to complete the project, but it is taking more time than usual due to a lack of funds. The construction costs are rising daily due to the ongoing recession and devaluation of the local currency, making it challenging to complete the project on time.

Your generous donations will help us to provide our students with a better education. We have identified specific areas where your support can make a significant impact, such as furniture, a computer lab, a science lab, a library, a play area, a cafeteria, a mosque, a conference room, a principal office, and a boundary wall.
