Through your generosity, $12,725 have been raised toward the project of installing a cold room for Senior Citizen Dining Room San Pedro Claver in Quito, Ecuador. The Dining Room is a vital place for 70-80 seniors who daily receive a hot meal and enjoy each other’s fellowship and activities the center offers. Presently, they are working with old appliances which frequently break down and need repair. The cold room will free the staff of unnecessary expenses and worries to preserve food and focus their energy on providing the seniors with nutritious meals and a loving environment.
Dining Room San Pedro Claver is one of the 15 organizations sponsored by Ecuadorian Volunteers Association (EVA) in Ecuador. On October 14, 2017 EVA, will hold its annual benefit event. In late October or early November all funds raised for the Ecuadorian organizations will be transferred to them, including the funds raised for the Dining Room so they can start the installation of the cold room.
