Dear donors and supporters,
We are excited to share information about our inaugural Living Forest Festival (Festival del Bosque Vivo), taking place on July 30th and 31st in Gámbita, Santander.
This event will celebrate our recent activities with children from three different school groups, focusing on forest conservation education. We will also be awarding prizes for the best entries in a contest of short stories, drawings, and poems created by the youth who have been on this conservation learning journey with us over the past semester.

Additionally, we are preparing for the 5th edition of the Muyso Festival at Lake Tota, scheduled for November. This event will also celebrate youth conservation efforts, with a focus on wetlands.
Your continuous support is instrumental in enabling all our activities in the Xieti and La Hondura Canyon nature reserves, which form a crucial part of our climate action strategy.
We are deeply grateful for your ongoing commitment to our cause.
Sincerely,
Felipe Velasco
Director, Fundación Montecito
