Monthly health camps are being conducted in rural villages in Cox's Bazar. These camps are for the very poor people who cannot afford to travel to receive medical treatment. Poor children with cleft's are being screened to assess suitability for cleft surgery. Widespread publicity about the upcoming cleft mission in November has begun. In addition to flyers, and newspaper advertisement, due to high level of illiteracy, announcements will be made by loud speaker in villages around the hospital.
