Hawai'i waters cleaner because of you!

I hope you're enjoying the beginning of summer!

You'll be happy to know that your donations are helping to keep the beautiful coastal beaches and waters of California and Hawai'i clean!

I want to highlight our volunteers' work in Hawai'i since my last report in February:

  • We started cleaning the Maui waters -- exciting to expand there (3 cleanups so far)!
  • Completed our third Waiahole Beach clean up with friends from Nudi Wear and a combined 10,000 pounds in debris was hauled away.
  • Hononlulu's Magic Island waters saw the removal of a wide variety of trash that smothers and entangles wildlife including a mattress, tires, ropes, boat parts, and plastic!
  • Multiple trips to China Walls - continually removing abandoned fishing line and hundreds of pounds toxic lead weights.

Our China Walls crew was greeted by a monk seal who seemed to be watching them clean his salty home. Come check out the video here. We're happy to do it, buddy!

Bottom line, YOU are the one who makes ALL the cleanups happen. We can't rally our ocean-cleaning volunteers or get the boats out of the docks without your partnership. THANK YOU!

I'm grateful to work with you for clean and healthy oceans!
