Give Clean Water to 300 New Mothers in North Haiti

Hey there, 

First off, just want to thank you for your patience as we navigate this project! The build of the clinic is so close to being complete! There have been several reasons for delay but the main ones being access to materials and safety of workers in Haiti. These challenges often can be ones that we face on our own but we wanted to be transparent with you as we navigate them together. We always want our donors to see what we are up to but we also know that as challenges come, they can be frustrating! 

So know that we will keep you posted with any more building updates! In the meantime, we thought you might like to know that we are going to be building two new Water Houses in the south of Haiti where we have been able to navigate some of the safety challenges more easily and we have our full time staff to do some of the hard work without us there. These builds will be going in in April! And we hope to have a plan for the clinic build you all funded by May!

Hey all, 

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on our upcoming project at Mama Baby Haiti! We are still waiting on the completion of the build before we plan our trip to install the filtration system. Building has been challenging primarily due to material and safety. There has been recent gang activity and road blocks making fuel shortages reach a critical level in the country. We want to bring clean water to this birthing center ASAP but have to be patient with the continually changing country situation and consider the safety of both the Haitian citizens and foreign travelers involved in the build.
