Hello Mulibwanji?
I want to welcome you to our second term report for the 2023-2024 academic year. It is always a pleasure for me to present to you an update of the work that you support and love in Malawi. This school term started off quite well even though we had small challenges due to the heavy rains we had in the first 2 months of the years, some schools were heavily damaged that they had to close and it was also difficult for us to travel and monitor our work in the schools but all in all we thank God that we managed to continue doing our work and we have been able to achieve a lot too.
The schools and institutions that we have worked with this term are:
Our organization believes that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and open up opportunities for individuals. Through our programs that we have, we have seen so many positive things coming out of the little support that we give to the schools that we work with. This term the Go For Girls program we have seen a decrease in the absenteeism rate of girls during their monthly period drop by 90%, we have also been able to introduce mentorship programs whereby girls are getting to understand their roles in the society and are able to decide best route of studies they should take after finishing secondary education so that they can have a meaningful impact, This school term we have been able to pay school fees for 40 students who are on our bursary program and also support them with learning materials, we are making a tangible impact on the lives of young people in need. We are still running a primary school in a small village called Mkanthama village in Lilongwe rural where we have 80 children from standard 1 to 4 having access to education where it was difficult for them to do so and also run a feeding program at the school. We have been able to support 6 secondary schools and 2 National libraries with teaching materials and text books. We are very grateful for the support we do receive from our donors and supporters in all corners of the World. Together we can make a difference in the lives of young people in Malawi and empower them to reach their full potential.
Thank you
