HRI 2024 Key Accomplishments

We want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your continued partnership and support with Hunger Relief International (HRI) via GlobalGiving. Together, we have made a tremendous impact on the lives of orphans in Haiti! We are excited to share some highlights from all HRI programs and services from the past year and a glimpse of what lies ahead.

A Look Back
In 2024, your support helped us serve a total of 28,592 people across multiple regions, including:

20,342 people served in Haiti (including preventing cholera at 14 orphanages)
6,249 people served in Guatemala
200 people served in Ukraine & Turkey
1,801 people served in North Carolina, USA

This collective effort has been life-changing for so many, and we are incredibly grateful for your role in making it happen.

Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond
We have already started 2025 with a major milestone! We are thrilled to announce that we are implementing our largest grant ever in Haiti, which will provide nutritious food to more than 57,000 people this year. This incredible grant comes from the World Food Program, and it is a significant step toward alleviating hunger and promoting long-term well-being.

Our work continues with hundreds of orphans and vulnerable families, and we remain committed to supporting displaced persons who are in urgent need of assistance. Additionally, we are actively seeking new grants to expand our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs to southern Haiti and northern Guatemala, where these services are critical for health and stability.
