Children's Health Wellness Center

We are very excited because of the generatins donations provided to kic of this Children's Wellness Programme!

What we have done to date:

1. We are expecting to use the funds to created 3000 copies of the Children's Red Books.  Why the Red book?  As part of our Wellness initiative we like to hand out this Red Book to every parent for their child's medical basic records.  What we discovered in our past study that parents tend to either repeat immunizations or give thier children immunizations they may not need. 
   
   Due to lack of records this is a common practice!  Children now become sick or even die due to this lack of records. During our programme event use it to record the child's weight and height, immunizations and other important information and other important information. 
   
   Parents can also add information to the red book, like they may want to record any illnesses or accidents your baby/child has, or any medicines they take. 
   
   Also we are creating other helpful information material to keep the developmental milestones section of the red book up-to-date, too.
2. We have signed partner ship with Smile Train to conduct awareness and nutritionaid and education to potential child patience that will recieve free Cleft Lip same day surgery with Smile Train.  Dates yet to be set for the awareness programme...watch this space!

It is still early days but we plan to work hard to ensure you are proud of us and this initiative, so much to do in the coming days.
