The football and sport program is established at Jafra as a long-term project to provide opportunities for several generations of children and youth to benefit from, as children swiftly turn into youth and young into adults. Due to the scarcity of free or inexpensive sport activities for children and youngsters in Lebanon, Jafra teams are aware that they cannot stop offering these kinds of activities.
Football practices are being held in two more locations, and a greater number of adolescents and children are expressing interest in joining the teams. Jafra thus lacks the finances to provide each child participant with a costume and pair of shoes. Your increased contributions would fill that gap and enable Jafra to hire football fields and the coaches' services more frequently.
As teams strengthen and stabilize, medals and cups arrive at Jafra's facilities, making the participants, coaches, and Jafra administrative teams incredibly happy and optimistic about the project's future growth.
Teams as well receive awareness workshops and instruction on first aid techniques, with a focus on sports injuries, in addition to their physical training. This is the result of productive collaboration with the palestinian camp's health and civil defense organizations.
