Children and Youth Health and Nutrition Project

Greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative promoting the health and nutition of young people coming from poor families. Our initiative assumes geat relevance especially during this time when the Coronavirus pandemic has no solution yet and the youth is one of the most vulnerable sector in the community. This reporting period we focus on providing nutritious food to targeted youth and children in difficult circumstances. For example when the parent lost their jobs, among others. We were able to support a total of 28 young people and their families by providing food during this reporting period. Hoping for your continuing generosity and support.

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative promoting the health and nutrition of disadvantaged youth. The Coronavirus pandemic has made our work more difficult and challenging with supply food chain broken and the lack of nutritious food supply. However this is the best way that we can highlight and promote the utilization of local fruits and vegetables as rich sources of nutrition as compared to the much hyped commercial food which sometimes has less nutritional value. The main issue is that massive advertisements from multinational companies has relegated local foods to low priority and low class by the populace. We will advocate and promote this effort via social media and by word-by-mouth as our volunteers engage the youth in local communities. Hoping for your continuing support.
