It's always a joy to report to you our progress and what is happening at Thread of Life through child sponsorship. The children had their second term classes from 27th May to 16th when they got their second term Holidays. Edirne says that school being in school has enabled him to discover his talent in sports, and he is very grateful for the opportunity to be in school. He continues to say that much as he has never met his father when even he goes back to school, he manages his emotions of being sad about missing the father. " Through education, I will be able to get a job and look for my father," says Edirne. Plus, Edirne wants to be a soldier when he is done with school.
More to that, during kids' holidays, we were able to collaborate with DFCU Bank to come and speak to the children about keeping your dreams alive. The children were very much happy to hear different speakers at Thread of Life offices. The children were able to receive scholastic stuff from our visitors before they went back to which started on 9th September 2024.
This last term is usually the promotional term our children will be promoted to other classes. Shamira is our candidate, and she will be finishing her lower secondary level of education. Through your generosity, children's lives have been changed drastically, and their future is secured.
