We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our sponsors, without whom our achievements over the past year would not have been possible. The support provided has had a significant impact, enabling a substantial number of candidates to successfully sit for their Uganda National Examination Board Exams (UNEB Examinations) As these students embark on a well-deserved short holiday and prepare for their next stage in their education journey, your continuous support is ensuring that three of the children will commence their secondary level education in March 2024, and others entering high School level 5.
Expression of Gratitude from our Beneficiaries
Edy, One of the primary seven candidates who recently completed his end-of-primary level examination, conveys his heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors. He shares these words “ I cherish the school where I have been studying and my teachers were very supportive. I have experienced all this because of your unwavering commitment to education. I conclude by expressing my gratitude and I hold a great affection for those who have made it possible by supporting me in school
Mary, who successfully sat for her UNEB Examinations, emerges from a family of nine, raised by a single mother and her being the only one in school. She expresses her excitement at completing the first phase of her education and she states, “I believe I am the hope for my family, I am grateful to every sponsor for supporting my dreams through school. May God bless and protect you. Thank you for paying my school fees over the years.
Activities During the Holidays.
As the children relish their holiday, many are actively assisting their mothers with household chores, as it is a culture in Uganda for children to offer help during their holidays and time at home, while they are learning how to be responsible people when they grow up, and to be able to take care of their homes. While eagerly some anticipate the commencement of the new school term. The Ministry of Education and Sports introduced a new curriculum incorporating skill-based projects such as Crocheting and catering. Students are so excited about the news. One of our children Pavin who has already embraced the skill of crocheting, can make products like door mats and table mats. These initiatives serve as an income-generating activity for the family and showcase the practical impact of education on our society.
