At Nucleo, we firmly believe in the power of music education as a universal right, transcending backgrounds and economic circumstances. Our ultimate goal is to provide a high-quality ensemble-based musical education, equipping students with learning and life skills to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
Diversity is at the heart of our programme, with 75% of our members representing Global Majority populations, and over 85% part of families falling within the lowest 50% of income brackets in England. Thanks to your generous donations Nucleo is able to offer a free programme, breaking down financial barriers and ensuring that every child, regardless of their economic status, has access to the transformative benefits of a high-quality musical education.
Since our inception in 2013, Nucleo’s success has steadily grown. Currently, we provide musical education to 450 students, with a waiting list of over 300. Our students learn one or more of 17 orchestral instruments, progressing through 10 group levels and achieving high standards in both individual and ensemble performance.
Every act of kindness from our donors contributes to an investment that goes beyond music; it changes the lives of Nucleo’s young musicians and their community.
We sincerely thank you for your support in making this vision a reality.
