MAMA A.C. is a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life of Children and Adolescents in vulnerable situations. In the area of school and psychology we work on:
1. Provide academic support to girls, boys and adolescents in vulnerable situations who continue to struggle to finish their basic studies. The program includes support classes, tutoring, and social skills and MAMA workshops. With a total of 756 face-to-face classes, 70 workshops, 52 counseling sessions.
2. In psychopedagogy: We continue to provide psychological and pedagogical care to girls, boys and adolescents, the program includes individual therapy, group therapy and workshops on emotional skills and educational triads. With a total of 45 individual sessions and follow-ups, 30 emotional skills workshops, 75 pedagogical interventions, 8 group or bin interventions.
The impact of this work has been reflected in the increase in the academic performance of the girls, boys and adolescents who participate in these programs.
Also at MAMA A.C we work with the right to food, providing a total of 900 dishes served to the school program in 4 months.
MAMA A.C. is an organization that works to create a safer world for working and vulnerable children and adolescents. The work carried out in the area of school and psychopedagogy is essential to help girls, boys and adolescents overcome their experiences and reach their maximum potential.
