Hi to all friends and supporters!
Many things have happened since you last heard from us. One school year ended, and another has begun. I’m excited to tell you about it in this newsletter - so let's get to it!
We are making big changes in MAMA A.C. both in the operation and the interior.
Since May, we’ve decided to unite two of our areas. The area of mental health and resilience, and our pedagogical area has been united. Since both areas work cognitive patterns and behavior, it made sense to make these adjustments. This way we assure the communication between our psychologists and pedagogue, and consequently we improve the accompaniment of each child. By joining forces, we raise the quality of our intervention!
Communication can build a better foundation for our intervention, but so can bricks. Since we sent the children on vacations, our educators, teachers, and professionals have rolled up their sleeves, to renovate the Child Workers House. Being a safe space for children and youth, Monday to Friday all year round, wears out the facilities in the long run. So, once in a while we need to give our operational center love, paint and general maintenance. This way we assure our space’s safety, and the girls and boys have dignified space during daytime. We need both warm and professional people, just as much as a space that invites immersion and play.
Now, the vacations are over, and the Child Workers House is full of laughter and hugs again. As friends and supporters you make this possible everyday. From my heart, thank you so much for your support.
