Project Goal: To empower 200 women in Wakiso, Butambala, and Mityana Districts of Uganda by providing access to skills training, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, and community building, with a special focus on recognizing and celebratingmothers.
Progress Towards Goal:
We are eager to launch this impactful project, but unfortunately, it has not yet received the necessary financial support to begin implementation. As a result, we have not been able to:
Challenges Encountered:
The main challenge has been attracting initial funding for the project. We have found that donors are often more inclined to support projects with tangible, immediate outcomes, such as providing food or shelter. However, we believe that investing in women's long-term empowerment is crucial for sustainable development.
