A good start for the project of nutrition

This is already a good start for our project to manage cases of malnutrition. Although we have not yet raised funds for this project, our team carried out a great field visit. The objective of this visit was part of a form of census of children suffering from acute malnutrition. The situation is very critical but with concrete actions, significant improvements could be made.

It was a Tuesday, the road leading to the small village was really difficult to access due to the rain which happens almost every day. Long before we left to go there, we had a meeting by telephone with a community leader on behalf of Maya. It is this lady who works as a midwife when parents do not have enough means to go to the city to give birth. It's a real ordeal. A locality with more than 5,000 people without even a small dispensary.

We presented our project to treat cases of malnutrition in Maya. The idea is to work in close collaboration with this comment leader in order to better address the problem of malnutrition and to provide concrete and lasting solutions.

Finally, we are confident that this project will be able to raise funds so that we can treat the cases of acute malnutrition recorded in this small town.
