Give Trauma-Informed Care to Orphans in Macedonia

Hey everyone, it's time for a quick update on the progress of our "Give Trauma-Informed Care to Orphans in Macedonia" fundraiser. We've had some great developments over the past quarter that we wanted to share with you.

• New Kids: We're thrilled to report that our program is expanding rapidly! In March of 2022, we had 6 children coming to The JOY Home day center for care every week. As of March 2023, we have 21 kids benefiting from our services. That's a lot of little people to look after, but we couldn't be happier to be able to help them.
• Training: Our team of therapists is always striving to improve their skills and better care for our children. To that end, we brought in a group of medical professionals to provide one-on-one training sessions. The result? Our therapists are even better equipped to provide top-notch care.
• Volunteers: We're always looking for ways to improve and expand our services, and we're excited to have volunteers lined up for later this year to provide various trainings and work on projects. These folks bring a ton of experience and knowledge to the table, and we can't wait to see what they bring to the program.
• Spring Fun: Spring has finally arrived and we're taking full advantage of it! We're getting the kids outside for walks in the yard, enjoying the fresh air, blue skies, and flowers in bloom. It's a great way to refresh and rejuvenate, and it's just one more way we're taking a holistic approach to caring for these kids.
