Since May 2023, the CARE collective, made up of Livity Rising, Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN) and Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) has provided 344 treatments to the migrant farmworker community. The same community that produces 1/3 of all vegetables, 3/4 of all fruits and nuts, and 90% of all strawberries for the United States. For many, the medical care given by the CARE collective is the only medical care the migrant farmworker community receives. Chronic pain and extreme stress have only been made worse because of severe weather and the Pajaro levee break. Many of them have lost their jobs because of the severe weather. The levee break led to the loss their homes and belongings to water, mud and mold. This is a community that deserves our care, and the need continues.
Please support those who allow us to have food on our tables! If you can, please give generously. Thank you for your support!!
