The four self help women's organizations from the marginalized sector, including sex workers, migrants, new immigrant women and single mothers are doing peer support work ranging from hotline service, escort to welfare agencies to advocacy for policy change. This peer mutual help is an effective way to help women in difficult situation, as they can learn from their sisters' sharing and see how they can go through those difficult times and stand on their feet confidently again. In order to sustain this good work, the leaders of the women's groups need to build their organizational capacity. This capacity building program includes skills that can strengthen their organization's administrative and fiancial management, as well as fundraising capacity. We believe this could allow them to build their work on a more solid and substantial ground.
