Nepal is dependent on laborers deprived of work, daily income opportunities due to a month-long nationwide lockout and its precarious families. Especially the wage laborers, the poor and the economically marginalized, the condition is that even cases of self-murder are coming up to maintain their daily housing, food and sanitation to protect themselves from this epidemic. It is very difficult for Fears of Corona have ended the economic recession and social cooperation.
Therefore, LIFE Nepal will assist those people through this intervention by feeding hunger first as many people are jobless and cannot afford their daily basic needs because of the lock down. In doing so, LIFE will distribute food packs to marginalized people who are economically deprived, elderly, pregnant and lactating women, single women and people with disability to meet their nutrition desires at least for a month. LIFE will identify those people in coordination with local government.
This project will ensure food for at least 1000 marginalized families who are economically deprived, elderly, pregnant and lactating women, single women, and people with disability suffering from hunger led by food crisis due to the impact of COVID-19 in Dhanusha district of Province No.2 of Nepal. Finally, 100 marginalized families in Dhanusha district of Province No.2 of Nepal met their nutrition desires for a month.
