During the last 7 days, 6 girls have been killed in the name of honor and the families reported it as suicides and the police skipping the lengthy process of the investigation reported as suicides

"The Awakening" is planning to Activity 1: Identifying the gaps in GBV survivor-service provision, prepare to provide essential stop-gap measures Activity 2: COVID mental health support helpline Activity 3: Organize (02) online training workshops through Zoom Training on Mental Health wellbeing during the crisis Activity 4: Digital and Radio Awareness Campaigns for WHRDs: Activity 5: Distribution of dignity/hygiene kits so those homebound /quarantined women can access the essential items
Increased protection responses of the WHRDs and women in need of GBV response and support Reduced stigma and discrimination against WHRDs through the provision of psychosocial support during the pandemic
