Building Classrooms for Zvamaida Primary School

Dear friend

It sure has been eventful in the world since I last wrote to you in February.

Covid 19 has created havoc like nothing most of us have seen in our lifetimes. Fund raising for charities from events being held have had to be cancelled, and at the moment none of us know when that will be able to start again. 

But to better news! We now have reached our minimum target of fund raising where we believe we can start planning the beginning of the building of the Zvamaida School Classrooms Project. We do though have a few hoops to jump through technically, but that should hopefully be sorted in around a month. 

All of this of course will be subject to how much activity the Zimbabwe Government will be allowing in the freedom of movement coming out of covid lock-down. We are eternal optimists by nature and will prepare to start building as soon as possible

We will continue to fundraise for the foreseeable future, because we have little in contingency funds available, and there is bound to be a need for some extra money.

Once we get the Classrooms built, hopefully also the Library, and the school furniture plus some much needed books as well,  the hope is that we will be able to fund some 'extra’s, including school sports equipment for both boys and girls, school uniforms, books etc.

Our project is exciting for those of us directly involved and without your help we could not be where we currently are in planning the start of the building.
