Our horse family is about to grow with two baby horses! They are expected any day now. One of the mothers is an experienced therapy horse. She is great for children in our Program Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities who are restless and have difficulty to calm down. Her gentle walk and easy nature helps the children overcome their anxiety. The other mother-to-be is a horse in training for therapy that children now love to brush and be around. All children are looking forward to meeting the newborns. With a lot of dedication of our team they will grow up to be excellent therapists.
In the meantime we are expanding our outreach to children and young people in risk and young women in addition to those with disabilities. To gain knowledge and expertise we created the international project Youth Going Back to Nature – Engage, Connect, Empower, supported by the Erasmus+ Program. In partnership with organizations from 5 other countries we will be developing and spreading innovative environmentally sustainable outdoor activities to help the young people improve.
It is exciting and busy time for us. We wouldn’t be able to continue without the help of our supporters. Thank you!
