With the help of you and all other friends of the organization we were able to successfully complete our first 3 month program for therapeutic riding for children with disabilities. As our community and supporters are growing, it will be possible to start another program in the beginning of May 2019. We are opening the second program for another 7 children with special needs who will attend weekly therapeutic sessions for free at our facilities.
Unfortunately, the children and their parents are still only coming for a few hours. PQHFB is working hard to offer suitable environment for them. For that we are regularly adapting our facilities. But the ultimate goal remains to have a professional therapeutic riding arena and space where the families could stay longer. The planning has already begun. An architect is preparing the first proposals for the look of the arena and the centre. It will be a costly and hard project to execute but the aim is worth. We know that eventually together we will make a difference.
One of the parents of a boy with spastic hemiplegia in our program once shared: „It is a shame that in Bulgaria there are very few places that offer therapeutic riding lessons. We are glad we found this rare place of PQHFB organization.„ What more of a motivation one can ask for?
This week, Apr 8th – Arp 12th, GlobalGiving is matching donations up to $50 at 60%. Let’s keep growing our family and supporters by sharing to everyone in our network.
