By Mina Raduncheva | Project Leader

The project aims to gather organizations from different sectors and embark upon together a journey to better the quality of the work, activities and practices of the entities in the field of YEAT across the partner countries – Bulgaria, France, Belgium, the European Union and internationally. The project will advance the capacity of the participating organizations, build bridges between different sectors, address common needs and priorities in YEAT, create and spread innovative approaches in YEAT, serve children and young people with disabilities.
The first meeting of the partnering organizations already took place and the team is already working hard on collecting good practices of equine-assisted therapy from Belgium, France, and Bulgaria.
We are excited to build up our expertise in equine-assisted therapy and apply it in our Program ‘’Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities’’.

Big News - Land for the Therapy Center
By Mina Raduncheva | Project Leader

After a lot of hard work, the team managed to find a piece of land that will be suitable for building the Horse Therapy Center. The land is conveniently located close to a road with a beautiful view of the mountains. The sound of the birds from the surrounding forests and the fresh mountain air will create the perfect environment for children to improve their conditions.
We received a lot of support from the local people. They are becoming more and more involved in our cause, understanding the importance of having a Therapy Center which will offer regularly free professional equine-assisted therapy.
Meanwhile we continue our Program for free therapeutic riding for disabled children. This winter we have one goal - to ensure that the children with disabilities continue their regular equine-assisted therapy. Our campaign ‘’Christmas Gift – Therapy for a Disabled Child’’ aims to gather funding for the Spring 2022 Program for free therapeutic riding. We accomplished so much together. We know we will continue thanks to supporters like you.

We Continue with Only 1 Instructor

Timi is getting better
The past few months were very challenging for our organization. Unfortunately, one of the instructors left the organization. Since the end of May we had to rely only on 1 therapeutic riding instructor to complete the lessons of all children in the Spring Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities.
Luckily, the instructor was assisted by volunteers. The volunteers are part of the team of the organization by means of the European Solidarity Corps project ‘’Young Volunteers and Horses Make a Change for Children with Disabilities’’. They come from different European Countries to help with the therapeutic riding sessions and the care for the horses. Their efforts and dedication has become a necessity. The instructor relies on them now to be able to carry out the sessions.
Thanks to the support of our donors and the efforts of the team we were able to fund and complete the Spring Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities!
Even though, we now have only one instructor all of the children will continue their therapy sessions in the Summer Program.
All we need is a little support in funding the rest of the Program. Support us in undertaking the Summer Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities. Spread our cause further and let’s do it together!
