We are so excited to update you on our progress with the health clinic. This is a dream come true for the people of El Rodieto, and we thank you for your support thus far. The team is working hard to complete the funding through our fundraising on GlobalGiving, and through grants and other sources.
For the building itself, we are continuing to prepare for the roof (and a second floor, eventually). Architects and engineers are working with the team on the ground. We are also getting feedback from doctors and dentistis. We're making decisions like having water in each room for dental visits, and where the pipes should go. We are also figuring out how to place doors and light switches. We continue to keep the patients in mind for every decision. Where will they go? How can we think through all the design elements.to ensure the very best treatment and care for the patients once the health clinic is complete.
