Wanderer, there is no road, the road is made by walking.

Report 19

Dear Family/Donors,

We will share with you in this report the numbers reached so far by our project.

It is important to point out that we are a school, and as and educational institution, our mission is a continuous one. But of course, for this campaign we had numeric goals that we are reporting here.

Our goal was to raise 25 thousand dollars to support 20 young students on Sustainability Training Courses. The mission is to capacitate young leaders on this subject, as we need more people and professionals that can cope the serious socioenvironmental challenges that we are facing nowadays.

We are doing great with the help of:

143 donors so far! THANK YOU!

Eleven students were supported, all of them finished the courses: five (5) made an MBA on Sustainable Business and six (6) a Master on Sustainability and Conservation. All of them are working in the field, and two of them are working in our institution, developing projects in Amazonian and Atlantic Forest with local communities, bioeconomy, and conservation.

Following our goal, we need to reach nine students more, but we still need to raise six thousand dollars (6,000 dollars) do to that!

“Wanderer, there is no road, the road is made by walking” (Antonio Machado). We used this citation from the poet as our report title.

We conclude that education is a path that is taken by walking, and that we are building this path together with our students and you, who have helped us on this journey.

We acknowledge you all for giving the opportunity to those talented students to learn and became empowered at ESCAS.

Please, write me if you have any questions or wish more information.
