The "stadium" is built of mud-and-cement bricks shaped and placed by men of the community. Dried in the sun, and fashioned into seating, the bricks form a central town square for socializing, traditional music, dance, and playing sports. It's no wonder the village people have dubbed it "The Stadium". Their pride of ownership shines in how they meticulously maintain their new, home-grown "Public Work".
New sports classes have begun, attracting participants of all ages. Early one morning, the coach encouraged players young and old to warm up together. With music and shouts, they sang and cheered. Some of those cheers may have been for YOU, our generous donor. Without your incredibe support, none of this success would ever have been possible. Thank you!
