Bring peace and hope in the Holy Land

A key aspect of this project is the use of creativity and art as tools to help children overcome their traumas. The "SOS" project focuses on artistic expression, using activities like creating stencils with fingerprints. These artworks will then be transformed into products, contributing not only to the children's psychological well-being but also supporting the community. The initiative is part of our social impact product development project at our creative workshop Dar al-Majus, where creativity becomes a tool for expression and sustainability.

A community center for the children of Gaza

Additionally, the children participate in social and integration activities at our community center in Bethlehem. As Annalisa explains, "The idea is to get them involved in activities that help them meet people outside the structure where they are hosted, so they can start to feel and be part of a community. The most beautiful thing is seeing that, by now, when they arrive at our center, they move around with ease, greeting everyone left and right, and feeling at home."

This community center offers the children a unique opportunity to overcome isolation, build meaningful relationships with others, and feel part of a larger reality. The goal is to help them regain a sense of normality and develop resilience, which has unfortunately been tested by the harsh experiences they’ve faced in Gaza.

Our commitment continues with the aim of building a better future for these children, providing them not only with a safe refuge but also with the resources necessary to face the present and look to the future with hope.
