This project aims to bring joy and festive warmth to children receiving treatment and rehabilitation at Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) during the holiday season. This initiative will create a warm, inclusive environment where children can celebrate Christmas, receive gifts from Santa Claus, engage with others, play games, dance, have delicious snacks, and create happy memories.
Many children, especially children with disabilities, receiving treatment and rehabilitation at BASR face significant challenges, including prolonged hospital stays, physical and emotional stress, and limited opportunities for joyful experiences. This project addresses the need to bring happiness, and a sense of community to these children, ensuring they feel valued, included, and uplifted during these times.
By hosting a festive event with gifts, fun games, dancing, and snacks, we will create a sense of excitement, offering children an opportunity to connect with each other and feel part of the holiday spirit. This event will not only bring smiles to their faces but also lift their emotional well-being and foster a sense of community and inclusion.
By creating positive memories and emotional connections, it helps create a sense of hope in children undergoing treatment at BASR.
