Cepac (Association for the Protection of Children and Adolescents), a civil society organization with 30 years of experience in Barueri, presents its oral health project, running for 23 years, aimed at promoting oral health for children in vulnerable situations. Currently funded entirely by Cepac, the project seeks not only to improve these children's oral health but also to create a significant change in their lives, enhancing self-esteem and well-being.
Oral health issues directly impact children's development, causing pain and eating difficulties. In Brazil, about 47% of children aged 5 to 9 have cavities, with higher rates in vulnerable communities. Lack of access to proper care worsens the situation. This project is crucial for providing treatments and education on oral hygiene, promoting health and well-being for children in vulnerable situations.
Cepac's project offers dental care and oral health education for children in vulnerable situations. We provide free consultations, treatments, and hygiene kits. Through educational activities and workshops for parents and educators, we promote prevention and care practices, improving children's oral health and self-esteem. With your help, we can expand the reach and impact of this essential initiative.
Cepac's project will bring lasting improvement to children's oral health, reducing dental issues and future complications. Oral hygiene education and regular check-ups will boost self-esteem and school performance. By empowering parents and educators, we will create a culture of prevention that extends beyond the children served, benefiting the community and generating a positive, sustainable impact on the well-being of future generations.
