Over the past three months, Cepac’s oral health project provided dental care to 120 children in vulnerable situations. In addition to clinical treatments, we conducted educational activities at Cepac’s unit, where children participated in practical sessions on oral hygiene and cavity prevention. These initiatives have transformed lives and brought healthier smiles.
Among the attendees is João, a 9-year-old boy who joined the project with difficulty eating due to pain caused by dental issues. After receiving treatment and an oral hygiene kit, João regained the ability to eat comfortably and became more engaged in school activities. His mother shared that this intervention brought great relief to the entire family.
With the support of our donors, we distributed 40 oral hygiene kits and carried out campaigns that promote healthy habits in the communities we serve. We remain committed to expanding our reach and ensuring more children have access to the care they need for a healthier future.
The attached photos showcase moments from the treatments and workshops, illustrating the direct impact on children and their families.
