The production of bread in our bakery in East Aleppo continues regularly, with a current capacity of 500-600 kg per day. The bread is primarily distributed to non-profit organizations, reception centers, orphanages, the Missionaries of Charity, and students in economic difficulty.
A key aspect we are working on is the economic sustainability of production. Currently, bread has become more accessible due to certain initiatives by the new authorities. Therefore, we are conducting an in-depth analysis to assess whether the cost of our bread remains competitive compared to what is available on the local market. Our goal is to ensure that production remains sustainable without putting a strain on available resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
An important milestone has been the completion of the automation of the production chain, which is now fully mechanized—from dough preparation to bread packaging. This allows us to optimize labor, improve efficiency, and ensure a constant supply of bread for those in need.
We continue to monitor the situation and improve production management to ensure that our efforts effectively meet the needs of the local community.
