Boost microbusinesses in Puerto Rico

A través de la Capacitación Empresarial Semillas hemos acompañado el desarrollo de decenas de empresarios a través de los años.  Debido al éxito de nuestro programa, este año fuimos contactados por el Municipio de Vega Baja para impartir los talleres a personas interesadas en iniciar sus negocios en este municipio.  Hasta este momento, hemos realizado varias reuniones de orientación a los ciudadanos que desean recibir la capacitación. Seguimos afinando los detalles para lograr que este nuevo ciclo de talleres pueda dar inicio en los próximos meses.  Ya tenemos más de 70 personas registradas para comenzar.  Esperamos que esta iniciativa tenga sus frutos y podamos seguir expandiendo los servicios de Casa sin Fronteras más allá del Municipio de Arecibo, donde nos ubicamos, haciendo honor a nuestro nombre.

Mientras tanto, seguimos promocionando en nuestras redes sociales a aquellas microempresas que se han formado en nuestra incubadora y capacitación empresarial.  De esta forma apoyamos el esfuerzo y el trabajo de estos empresarios puertorriqueños, que día a día se fajan para echar hacia adelante sus familias y el desarrollo económico de Puerto Rico.  Como es el caso de Rafael, quien participó de un ciclo de Capacitación Empresarial Semillas.  Su restaurante en Aguadilla fue recientemente reseñado por el periódico El Nuevo Día en su revista gastronómica SAL!.  Su concepto de “farm to table” ha sido la clave de su éxito.  Le deseamos lo mejor a Rafael y nos sentimos orgullosos de sus logros.

Through the Semillas Business Training we have accompanied the development of dozens of entrepreneurs over the years.  Due to the success of our program, this year we were contacted by the Municipality of Vega Baja to offer the workshops to people interested in starting their businesses in this municipality.  So far, we have held several orientation meetings for citizens who wish to be trained. We continue to refine the details to ensure that we can start this new cycle of workshops in the coming months.  We already have over 70 people registered to get started.  We hope that this initiative will bear fruit and we can continue to expand the services of Casa sin Fronteras beyond the Municipality of Arecibo, where we are located, living up to our name.

Meanwhile, we continue to promote on our social networks those microenterprises that have participated in our incubator and business training.  We support the effort and work of these Puerto Rican entrepreneurs, who day by day work to move forward their families and the economic development of Puerto Rico.  As is the case of Rafael who participated in a cycle of Semillas Business Training.  His restaurant in Aguadilla was recently reviewed by the newspaper El Nuevo Día in its gastronomic magazine SAL!.  His "farm to table" concept has been the key to his success.  We wish Rafael well and are proud of his achievements.
