HOW PASTORS BENEFITED FROM THE 2021 CHRISTMAS PACKAGE
Most times when pastors are talked about, they are thought of as God’s ordained people that receive and bless for prayer requests, visit a sick sister or brother, and interpret a dream or a scripture we don’t understand. Many run to them for emotional, physical and sometimes economic support. Chances are, these pastors as hard as they work to ensure the flock’s wellbeing/ edifying the body of Christ, they rarely get someone asking them how their family is, or if they have enough food, or whether their children are going to school. All we think of is ourselves first. Many pastors’ families struggle with finding time for their families and others with expectations by church members of their spouses or children. They experience emotional highs and lows. Depression is pervasive in pastors’ ministries, and often is a secret problem.
Most of the world hears about the few pastors who make huge salaries. The reality is that the majority of pastors struggle financially. During the Covid 19 pandemic, churches were closed for almost 2 years, and those pastors that depend on the church support have faced many challenges. Many pastors and families usually miss out on a Christmas meal because of a misconception from their flock that they are well off, so don’t need any support.
This 2021 Christmas was different from the past because our dearest sponsors made it special for the pastors in Buwaya Village. All the pastors that didn’t have any hopes, were very surprised and thanked the Lord for the angels he sent to touch their hearts by providing for them when they least expected it. Ten pastors and their families were generously blessed with a Christmas package that consisted of a bunch of bananas, a hen, rice, meat, macron, blue band, cake, sodas, gifts, bread, cooking oil, among others. This created very great memories that pastors will always hold on to, since someone out there was able to read their unspoken wishes and fulfilled them.
A pastor is anointed by God to bring blessings to our lives. Thus, helping him, with Godly reverence, is expected from us. When we bless a pastor, we automatically attract God’s blessing.

Praise the Gracious Lord, and I hope our dear sponsors are fine. I am pastoring Alpha Christianity Center in Sazi Village. I really bless the name of the lord for the 2021 Christmas because it was truly and totally a different christmas from all I’ve had in my life, especially in my time of ministry. I had never gotten a chance before of being gifted by brethrens, but the Lord brought AHCM that changed my whole perspective of Christmas by giving me a cake, a hen, bunch of matooke, gnuts among others. This was very overwhelmiing to me and I dont know how I can expres my sincere gratitude towards all who contributed to this, because my family and I were even given new clothes that day. I can never compare this day to any other day, and I pray to Almighty God to abundantly bless Another Hope Children’s Ministries for having given us such loving and generous sponsors. This kind of Christmas made us long for other Christmas’ to come. May the good Lord bless you more and more. Thank you very much!
