It is with great joy that we can say our doors have opened and our children have arrived!
Our job is just beginning as now comes the biggest challenge, making the assessments and evaluations required to determine the need of each child so we can provide the appropriate attention and service these children and their parents require. 50% of the enrolled children are from Special Education while 35% is of low income. Through collaborations we have been able to Provide Evaluations in different areas to develop an action plan for each child. One of our collaborators is the “conservatorio de Musica” who through a music program named “Música 100x35” (http://musica100x35.com/nucleo/san-juan/ ) visit to our school and children can enjoy playing instruments while singing along and learning. As our school program takes off, we can only be so grateful for the contributions we have received. But more grateful are our children... Their smiles say it all....
Thank you!!
