Super Heroes will rebuild 2 classrooms of Jose Acevedo Alvarez School in Aguadilla Puerto Rico to provide Montessori education, specialized therapy and parental assistance to 20 children (age1-6) with impairments whos family lack the economic resources to cost these essential need. The funds will go towards the Childs's educational cost and furnishing the classrooms.
There are currently over 340 children with impairments in the west side of Puerto Rico between ages 0-3 according to "child count" of the Health Department. They only receive one intervention a month and no education. They lack specialized educational services that promote skill development for their day to day life. Parents lack the funds to cost their Childs unique needs and the legal assistance to defend their rights.
Super Heroes will provide complimentary Montessori education , individualized, of quality and inclusion. Provide Therapy specialized to the Child's need, cover laegal asistance services and medical coordination within the school. Parents will receive free legal counseling while their child receives education and the special attention needed.
Develop a strong foundation of skill at early age that will increase their opportunities in contributing to society and the economy when they are older. Minimizes challenges when migrating to the Educational Department. Parents will be better prepared to guide them as they grow.
