Sometimes, all it takes to start a preschool is goodwill and a friendly neighbor... plus a teacher, some children, and a sponsor to put it al together. That's what happened in Kinyana Village, about 5 miles from Cyaruzinge Village, on a mountain ridge far above the valley below. The Kinyana branch of local government asked for help, a local teacher accepted the opportunity, and the parents all said, "Yes, Please!".
Pygmy Survival Alliance's field team got the ball rolling with school supplies and resources for a porridge kitchen. Now, the Kinyana children gather in the local government building to sing, smile and enjoy porridge at Irerero Preschool's Kinyana Branch. It's a win for the children, for their parents, and a BIG win for YOU, our amazing donor. Your wonderful support made this outreach possible! Thank you!
