Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative rescuing and supporting battered women. The series of economic difficulties brought about by severe changes in climate and the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic has reduced poor women to destitute situation and families with abusive husbands become more problematic because economic difficulties aggravate the situation. This reporting period we are starting to provide support as well as canvass women in our villages who are battered and in difficult circumstance. We need a baseline by which we will be able to monitor progress of our intervention. We are starting to do baseline activities in 3 pilot villages and start also providing support to an initial 7 women. Hoping for your continuing assistance to this important initiative.
