Through the Baemedi Propgram we have been able to cater for the educational needs of our little ones coming from disadvantaged homes. With almost 100 children enrolled at Ratanang Day Care Centre in 2023 we strive to invest in tomorrow’s leaders through sponsorship and donations.
In the year 2023 27 beneficiary’s educational needs were catered for. 10 of these beneficiaries have enrolled into big school (Primary school) this year. In 2024 we have currently enrolled 70 learners in our day care, and we are also assessing possible candidates for the Baemedi program for 2024. Through this program we can provide educational support to the little ones while their parents continue their studies and search for employment.
Checking up on our previous beneficiaries
Meet our little one who benefited from the Baemedi program. She went to big school last year’ (2023) and has been doing well. She has excelled in Reading and Spelling and this year she is in grade 1. Her Mother was introduced to Lesedi la Batho through the Young mother’s support group when she fell pregnant while still in school but through the young mother’s support group she completed her studies. She is now currently volunteering as a teacher assistant at Ratanang Day Care where her child’s greatness was first nurtured.
