Our Baemedi project has provided great learning opportunities to the beneficiaries as well as financial relief for their parents who are currently in school and struggling financially. In the past three months our learners have been able to participate yet another ECD event for the year and one educational tour to connect what they have learned in class with the practical experience of the topics covered.
Our little ones have been learning about all the sounds, colours and looks of the animal kingdom. To complement their in class learning they went on a field trip to the Mystic Monkeys Zoo. Our kiddies had fun and saw the different animals they have learnt about in class. They saw cheetahs, tigers, lions, leopards,, monkeys, marabou storks, macaws, parrots, flamingos, and many others.
In September as we celebrate Heritage month our Kiddies celebrated their different cultures at an event in Mabopane Indoor hall on the 22 September 2023 along with 40 other Day Care Centres in Mabopane who are affiliated with Direleng Bana Forum; this is an annual event that seeks to teach children about our diverse cultures through food, song and dance, the children also dressed up in their traditional attires showing off were they come from.
