HOPE Africa has partnered with Reenbog Early Childhood Development Centre for the past five years to ensure that the children attending school and aftercare are well looked after. Recently, the roof structure showed signs of leaking and a possibility of collapse. A leak or collapse would have spelled disaster especially now that Cape Town is experiencing winter rainfalls.
With the funds raised from this campaign, HOPE Africa was able to donate funds to buy corrugated iron and pay for the refurbishment of the roof structure. This was done in April 2023 and the roof structure is now secure. Reenbog Early Childhood Development Centre leadership and the community were very grateful for the support.
