When the COVID-19 pandemic struck the indigenous communities in Chinchero, Peru, we created the Ayni Relief Fund to help support their needs within the community. The concept of Ayni, fundamental to the culture in Chincero, is based on reciprocity: if you help me, I will, in turn, help you. This cultural patrimony is needed everywhere today. Ayni community leader Puma Quispe and several community members will lead illuminating workshops this month:
Tukuy Rikuy · reading signs and omens & Mama Kuka Rimariynin · Coca Leaf readings
“The universe is constantly communicating with us through messages, signs and omens, even though we’ve forgotten how to listen and decode them. Join us in reconnecting to the power of oracles to open our third eye and receive the wisdom of the great spirit. Mama Kuka Rimariynin is the art of reading and decoding the messages from the cosmos/universe through the sacred leaves of mama coca in order to connect with the past and future. In this class we will discover the techniques behind using sacred leaves”
Hosted by Alfredo & Puma on Tuesday, November 21, 2pm Cusco, 90 minutes, www.noqankani.com/classes
Yanantin Masintin · resonate with the cosmos
“Yanantin Masintin is the communion of our soul – a resonance with powerful essences here on Mother Earth, the spirit world and the cosmos. In this program, we will practice the powerful way in which we can become one with the soul essence, light and energy of these high frequency vibrations to bring healing energy and transformation to our planet.”
Hosted by Puma on Friday, November 24, 10am Cusco, 90 minutes, www.noqankani.com/classes
