3 Generations is committed to Indigenous Peoples and their struggles to protect their communities, lands and traditions. When the pandemic struck the indigenous communities in Chinchero, Peru, we responded by creating the Ayni Relief Fund to help support their needs within the community.
In June, we were delighted to be able to connect with Community leader Puma Quispe for a solstice celebration and blessing. You can view our conversation and the ceremony here.
Your support and solidarity has been critical for the people of Chinchero to continue to rebuild during this pandemic. The project is reaching its goal, and we are so proud to be able to continue disbursing funds to finish building the school and continue supporting women in the community who are starting small businesses.
