Dear Friend,
As we continue our mission to support children with autism in Kenya, we are thrilled to share the progress of our Therapy and Food project. Over the past few months, we have provided vital services to over 100 children in low-income areas, ensuring they receive the occupational therapy and nutritious meals they need to thrive. Through the generosity of you, our donor, we have been able to offer free therapy sessions weekly, tailored to each child's unique needs. This has led to significant improvements in their cognitive and social skills, empowering them to engage more fully in their communities. In addition to therapy, we have also distributed food packages that provide essential nutrition, helping to alleviate some of the daily struggles these families face.
Our project has also focused on empowering the parents and caregivers of these children. We have conducted regular counseling sessions, offering guidance on home-based therapy techniques and strategies for managing autism. This support has been instrumental in helping families better understand and meet the needs of their children. Furthermore, we have seen a remarkable increase in parental engagement and community participation, fostering a supportive network for all involved. The impact of this project extends beyond immediate health benefits, contributing to the long-term well-being and economic stability of these families.
Thank you again,
Ruth Tenai.
